Today I am posting the 412th photo of of the day.
Is this my last photo of the day post? It very well might be. I am using the word hiatus instead of end, but it will probably be a long hiatus.
Originally, last December and January, I was really aiming to get 366 photos up this year, one every day. Life was a little more hectic than I expected, and daily posting this year has actually been the exception, not the norm.
Still, I tried to get back in the habit through the month of September. But then October happened and, half way through

After an inconsistent summer with many breaks from daily posting, I hope to get back on track now that the boys are back in school. Many of the posts I did put up over the summer went straight to 500px and deviantArt, not onto the blog, but I do hope to get back on track with daily posts here, as well.

This photo of the day post is a little different and reflects a slight change in direction due to the current circumstances in my life.
My posting practice is time consuming, from selecting and editing the photos through to linking to the posts everywhere. With the time consuming needs of my family right now, I just don't have the time to run through this process on a daily basis right now.
However, there are other ways to go about this.
Instead of posting a daily photo on Rubble, I may just post small collections of two or three photos e
